Corella Dam and Mary Kathleen
Corella Dam was built in 1958 to provide water to the uranium mining town of Mary Kathleen. The town was closed in 1983 and the buildings removed. All that remains are the streets and the concrete slabs from the shops, offices and carports. The old town site is now a free camping area - complete with the old carport slabs for your awning area.
